Dr. Muhammad Nasir Hussain completed his M.Sc. (2011–2013) and M.Phil. (2013–2015) from the Department of Chemistry, Quaid-I-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad. He subsequently joined QAU as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Syed Mujtaba Shah and successfully completed his Ph.D. in 2024. During his PhD, he was awarded a prestigious fully funded Commonwealth Split-site Scholarship at the University of Bradford UK under the supervision of Dr. Stephen G Hickey in session 2020-2021. His Ph.D. research focused on the versatile synthesis of transition metal oxide-based nanocomposites for electrochemical battery-type supercapacitors. Currently, Dr. Hussain is pursuing postdoctoral research at İnönü University, Turkey, under the TÜBİTAK Scholarship, where he is working on the design and development of MOF-derived metal chalcogenides for advanced supercapacitors and batteries. He has authored 15 research articles and 2 book chapters published in reputed international journals and publishers. Dr. Hussain continues to advance his research interests in nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion applications.
